Working from home sounds like a dream, doesn’t it?
For the most part, setting your own work schedule and having the freedom to work from any location you’d prefer does sound like the ultimate scenario. However, working at home can also be isolating, downright distracting and unproductive.
There’s nothing like a well stocked fridge, Netflix, and the coziness of your bed to take your mind off impending tasks.
It can also get a little lonely too.
In a city like Bangkok, the last place you want to be is holed up in your room. You want to be meeting like-minded people, making friends, opening new doors of opportunity and out amongst the vibe.
Luckily, Bangkok is a global leader in cool co-working spaces.
Whether you want a place to focus on developing an online business, a calm, productive vibe to write your novel, or simply a place to chill and answer emails, Bangkok has a list of spaces as long as your arm to choose from.
So get out of your apartment and head to a co-working space in Bangkok, where you can work productively in the company of other entrepreneurs, ingenues and generally cool people.
Don't know of a co-working space near you? No worries. As usual, I've done the heavy lifting and compiled the 35 best co-working spaces in Thailand’s bustling capital.

Have You Got Digital Nomad Insurance?
Let me just jump in here for a second and emphasize the importance of health insurance when considering a digital nomad lifestyle.
It's crucial to have insurance that covers various aspects such as illness, hospitalization, medical emergencies, flight delays, personal liability, theft, and loss of belongings. These are the things we'd rather not think about but need to address.
Being covered in the event of an accident is of utmost importance. Hospital fees can accumulate into a significant bill, and you may not be allowed to leave if you can't pay. Insurance offers peace of mind and financial protection throughout your stay in Thailand.
However, it's important to note that typical travel insurance may not be suitable in this case. Since you'll be staying long-term without a fixed return flight date (which is usually required by most policies), you'll need a different solution.
I personally recommend the SafetyWing Nomad Insurance plan, which even allows coverage for my children. It offers travel and medical coverage across multiple countries, including visits back home for up to 30 days.
The best part is that you can obtain coverage at any point during your trip and end your policy whenever you choose. It's highly flexible and specifically designed for individuals like you and me.
